This
December I’ve been busy expanding my series ‘Tiny Interventions’.
I
have been painting on postcards that I’ve collected from museums and
collections.
Sometimes
they are a cheeky response to ‘old Masters’, and others are a way of me trying
to get inside the workings of other artists. Being small they can be completed quickly
(within a day) and although painted with a tiny brush they have proved
liberating.
The following two postcards see Doig visiting other artists landscapes.
